Why we do what we do at Nuway Support

Jane and Steve both have a passion for enabling people to navigate and use Health and Social Care pathways with ease.

Jane Allen started helping to connect people who need reliable services with trusted Personal Assistants, her passion for connecting others, creating a healthy environment of encouragement, reliability and respect for everyone needing support is what drives Nuway Support.

Jane has previously worked for a Supported Living Service covering areas within Reading, Basingstoke,  Greater London, and Kent. She successfully completed National Accredited Brokerage Training in November 2011 and continues to work as an Independent Support Broker in Buckinghamshire.

Jane has been involved in setting up and managing a register of self employed Personal Assistants with Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, which works effectively and efficiently for the Local Authority and individuals either self funding their own care or in receipt of a direct payment, whilst maintaining standards as set out in the current Health and Social Care modernisation programme.

Jane is dedicated to provide a cost effective solution for the National Health Service and Local Authorities and to enable individuals to experience the benefits of receiving person centred support with positive outcomes.

Stephen Unsworth works for Nuway Support Services and is also our company secretary.

Stephen has a background of senior management both with the health industry and with social service.

His experience ranges from his current role with a London Borough within the Integrated Commissioning Team; but also spans across the Transformation agenda in a number of boroughs.

Stephen also worked in the NHS and later with BUPA, having completed their Healthcare Executive Programme.

He holds a Business Studies Degree and brings commercial balance and project experience to a range of services
